With the 2007 college football season less than a week away I have decided to create this blog as a repository for all my college football analysis to come. Most of my posts will focus either on gambling and betting analysis, or on my computer rankings. The rankings are something I have been working on since the 2002 season, and I will expound upon how they function in later posts. Last year I used them as a tool for my first foray into the world of sports betting, and ended up going 86-74, and earning a 15.8% return on my starting bankroll over the course of the season. My internal statistician feels compelled to point out that the sample size is far too small to definitively prove anything except that I probably got lucky, but nevertheless I intend to attempt to duplicate my success. As I place bets, I will post each bet here, along with (usually) some justification for why I think the bet is good.
Please be advised that I am merely logging my own wagers, not advising anyone else to do the same, so I am not to be held responsible for any losses incurred by my readers as a result of the information I post. I can only hope, though, for my own sake, that anyone who chooses to follow my picks will end up with a profit.
Thank you for visiting The College Football Warehouse, I hope you find your time here valuable, and choose to return.
